Causes of skin loosening

Collagen is the main protein in the body that keeps skin tight. After the age of 30 years, its production decreases progressively, as a result of which the skin becomes less elastic and wrinkles appear. Time leaves its traces even from the age of 25 years, particularly in the area of the neck, where the skin is sensitive and thin. By the age of 40 years, the signs of aging and loosening become visible in the face contour as well. Along with the decrease of collagen levels, the amount of fats in deeper skin layers which serve as support is also impaired.

Lowered production of hyaluronic acid and decreased hydration also contribute to the thinning and dryness of the skin. Additional factors that contribute to the loosening of skin and may cause earlier formation of wrinkles are lifestyle, frequent exposure to sunlight,excessive loss or gain of weight, high-fat diets, smoking and heredity.

Treatment of loose skin with injection procedures

Combined therapy with hyaluronic filler and skin booster

A biocompatible and highly concentrated hyaluronic acid in combination with skin boosters (Restylane Vital, Vital Light, Juvederm Volite) are injected in the dermis of skin, where they are completely absorbed. Thanks to their slow release, skin boosters stimulate the natural release of collagen and elastin effectively shaping not only the designated point of injecting but also all skin tissues in the area.

To achieve a more durable effect, intake of larger amounts of water and avoidance of heat, smoking and drastic dietetic regimens to lose weight, are recommended.

The Sculptra non-hyaluronic filler

The Sculptra non-hyaluronic filler contains poly-L-lactic acid, which tightens and smooths the skin, and the face contour acquires a natural and youthful look. The production of type I and III collagen in fibroblasts and the type IV and VIII in keratinocytes increases, and also the production of elastin and endogenous hyaluronic acid, grows bigger. Meso-threads are a method of aesthetic dermatology that successfully replaces plastic interventions.
