How does it work?

The CynoGlow treatment plan targets patients’ top skin concerns across multiple treatment areas. The treatment is considered bi-layered since it targets the superficial and deeper layers of the skin and combines two powerful energy based devices: PicoSure laser and Potenza RF microneedling

PicoSure is the world’s 1^st 755nm picosecond laser. It treats pigments safer and more effectively with little to no downtime compared to traditional lasers. The treatment with PicoSure laser is highly targeted, which means any risk of damage is contained and minimized. For this reason, PicoSure is extremely safe and can be applied to any area of the face. With the Platinum Focus Lens this fractional Pico second laser treatment is effective and safe to get glowing skin and give a fresh and youthful appearance.

Potenza consists of ultrafine needles and RF energy to penetrate the top layer of the skin and trigger the body’s natural healing process to regenerate new collagen and elastin, which will tighten and firm your skin via soft tissue coagulation. Moreover, Potenza is the only four mode RF microneedling device that delivers mono-polar and bi-polar RF. Mono-polar RF is ideal for skin rejuvenation because it works on the deeper skin layers stimulating collagen production, which results in lifting, tightening and textural corrections. Bi-polar RF allows for superficial heating, which targets fine lines, acne scarring and hyperpigmentation.

Potenza has four unique needle types to chose from:

Insulated needles – used for both targeted and deep treatments in the skin.
Single insulated needles – used to precisely target and improve blemishes found in the skin.
Tiger Tip – used for treating more tissue in a single treatment without sacrificing the epidermis, which makes the treatment faster, more comfortable and more effective.

How long does the treatment take?

Depending on the number of areas that are being treated, the Cynoglow treatment plan can be completed in just one hour, however you will also need to allow for an additional 20 minutes for the numbing cream to activate.

What to expect post treatment?

The treated area will likely be a little reddened with very slight swelling and can last anywhere between a few hours to 48 hours. You may experience some flaking of old skin to reveal new fresh skin underneath. Some common treatment effects include slight bleeding of the needling and warmness felt during treatment but no significant pain. Other side effects include mild redness, tingling, and tenderness after treatment. Tiny scabs may appear as your skin heals; these scabs should be left alone and will fall off naturally.

Is there any downtime?

The CynoGlow treatment plan is expected to cause little or no downtime. Some people may experience redness and swelling, but this should subside within a few hours. Patients can usually go about their day immediately. You should avoid the use of hot water in the treated areas for 3 days, as well as avoid heavy sports for 2 days. For a faster recovery moisturize the skin, avoid sun and apply SPF 50+.

How many treatments are needed?

CynoGlow can be performed all over the year, even on tanned skin. Depending on the skin condition, our doctors will advise on the number of treatments. Generally most clinicians recommend three to four initial sessions one month apart to achieve optimal results. The patient is advised to drink plenty of water the day before and after the treatment. If the patient has undergone botox than any laser based treatments should be performed no sooner than 2 weeks apart, and 1 month apart in case of filler.
