Saypha® Hyaluronic Acid Facial Fillers

Hyaluronic acid is a natural element in our body and performs important functions such as maintaining moisture, firmness and elasticity of the skin. Environmental factors such as excessive sun exposure, smoking, poor diet, stress and the natural aging process affect the depletion of hyaluronic acid levels in our body.

As we age, hyaluronic acid levels decrease, which worsens the condition of our skin. It becomes drier, thinner and loses its flexibility and elasticity. Fine lines and wrinkles appear, the volume decreases and the overall harmony of the face is disturbed. Areas particularly affected by volume loss are the cheeks, lips, temples and lower jaw.

What are Saypha® dermal fillers?

Saypha® hyaluronic facial fillers belong to the Austrian pharmaceutical company Croma Pharma and are among the most widespread and recognizable anti-aging products.

The products are manufactured utilizing their innovative SMART (Supreme Monophasic and Reticulated Technology) system. . This manufacturing process increases the lifespan of the dermal filler when injected under the skin by optimizing the crosslinking and interlocking of the hyaluronic acid molecular chains.

Saypha® dermal fillers are transparent, sterile, biodegradable, high elasticity, isotonic, homogenized and monophasic. They use cross-linked and non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA), of non-animal origin, created by biofermentation.

They have the ability to fill and smooth wrinkles, as well as create or restore volume, offering a overall rejuvenated appearance. Saypha® fillers are only injected by qualified doctors and their benefits include:

  • Correction of wrinkles and fine lines
  • Volume loss recovery
  • Lip volume correction and contour improvement
  • Improving skin tone and elasticity
  • Moisturizing and improving the overall appearance

The treatment is non-invasive, requires minimal recovery time and provides immediate, natural results. In addition, the procedure is mostly painless thanks to the combination of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine (local anesthetic). The results are visible immediately after the treatment and can last several months, depending on the specific product and its quantity.

First your doctor will do a thorough examination to determine the appropriate treatment plan. Then the area to be treated is treated with a local anesthetic 10-15 minutes before the procedure. After the area is anesthetized, the product is injected into the dermis through a series of punctures. The duration of the process depends on the area being worked on. The average time is about 20 to 45 minutes.
Avoid makeup for at least a few hours after the procedure. Depending on the type of filler used and the area treated, massage at home for several days may be recommended. After the procedure, the skin in the treated area is swollen. Bruising can sometimes occur at the piercing sites, which disappear in a few days and can be covered with make-up in the meantime.
Hyaluronidase can be injected into the area to dissolve the filler.
Saypha is biodegradable, which means that the effect is not permanent due to the natural degradation of hyaluronic acid. Results can last several months, up to a year, depending on the Saypha product used, the area treated, and the individual's metabolism of the implanted HA. Saypha Filler is expected to last between 6 and 12 months, Volume between 12 and 16 months, Volume Plus between 12 and 18 months. After the mentioned interval, you can decide again if you want further treatment.
